Who We Are

RLS Rapid Locking System (RLS) is a Marmon/Berkshire Hathaway company. We designed, engineered, and developed the first press-to-connect fittings for the HVAC and refrigeration industries. Today, millions of RLS fittings are installed worldwide, and our original, patented, proven product line remains the only line of refrigerant press fittings in the world.

What You'll Do

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the overall sales performance and growth of RLS accounts. This RSM will cover the North Florida and Georgia territory. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining a contact program with key accounts.

  • Performing market studies to produce sales and marketing plans.

  • Developing strategies to maximize market penetration.

  • Assisting in establishing sales and expense budgets.

  • Meeting the company’s annual sales budget.

  • Reviewing and analyzing product penetration, gross margin, sales goals, new customers, and purchase frequency.

  • Providing input to marketing on regional competitive pricing, competitor intelligence, and general market conditions.

  • Proactively developing strategies to acquire new customers and grow existing customer sales.

  • Coordinating special pricing and rebate programs.

  • Completing special projects and other duties as assigned.

  • Providing monthly updates on territory performance and developing ongoing forecasts for new and existing customers.

What You'll Need

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in plumbing or HVAC fields.

  • Experience in outside sales, preferably selling to plumbing wholesale accounts.

  • Experience managing day-to-day sales and account activity.

  • A proven track record of generating profitable and measured business growth.

  • Strong customer orientation.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Prior experience in a multi-faceted and fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, and related computer programs.

  • Results-oriented and self-motivated.
